A New Year’s resolution
A new year resolution is a tradition, most common in the Western Hemisphere but also found in the Eastern Hemisphere, in which a person resolves to continue good practices, change an undesired trait or behavior, accomplish a personal goal, or otherwise improve their life at the start of a new year.Make resolutions that you can keep.

#Write it down.Write your resolutions down in a place where you can remind yourself daily of your intentions.

#Make changes to your behaviorNot seeing the results you were hoping for? Try changing up your routine. If you are doing the same thing over and over again and not seeing a change, it’s time to modify your behavior.

#Define SMART goalsUse the SMART acronym when you are setting goals: specific, measurable, attainable, relevant and time-specific. If your goal is to lose weight, what specifically are you going to do so that you can measure and track your progress over a specific time frame? Maybe take up walking and eat healthier to lose 10 pounds by June. Setting SMART goals can be the difference between failure and achievement.

#Track your progressUse a calendar or technology to track your goals and progress. Self- monitoring is an important concept in keeping your resolutions, so you can look back and see where you came from and the changes you have made.

#Reward small achievementsWhether you are losing weight, or on track to saving more money, it is important to recognize the small accomplishments and do something nice for yourself. This will get you excited about your overall goal and help keep you focused.

Wanting to make a resolution is a good thing and highly encouraged. It gives people something to look forward to and keep working towards. Even if they aren’t followed through completely, making a resolution shows that you have the belief and hope in your ability to change habits and become a better you.

*How to celebrate new year party with loved ones*

1. Host a virtual party Can’t see the people you’d like to? Having a virtual party could still give you the feel of a traditional NYE celebration, but you know, without COVID. Schedule a virtual party with a few close friends or invite everyone on your Instagram. Your party, your rules. I like this idea because you can still get the glitz, the glam, and bubbly without the traffic, potential danger, or going out in the cold. A virtual party could give you the party vibes you’re looking for. The pandemic has definitely changed the way we interact with one another, but maintaining social relationships is still very important.

2.Get creative with board games. A family game night is always fun, and you should definitely play a few on New Year’s Eve. You can make it even more fun by letting each member of your family take some time to make up rules for their own board game — and to collect materials from other games and craft their own supplementary game pieces and cards. Then everybody can play the games.

3. Have a dance party. Turn on a festive playlist and dance with your kids. A dance party is sure to be fun no matter what, but you can make it even more New Year’s-fancy by inviting everyone to dress in their fanciest party clothes.

You may have had some really good memories about the past one, but you never know what the new one is bringing for you. It’s time to be hopeful, have new dreams and make some new resolutions for the new year in your life. It’s time to connect with each other and make new year wishes. It’s time to move on and embrace what’s new. The new year means a lot of new dreams and new achievements. If you are excited about the new year that’s soon to be taking place, it’s time to look at these unique new year messages and wishes because you really need to wish your dearest ones a new year.
